Sample of script:

Opens with Betty on the phone.

Betty: Hi, Frank. It’s Betty Wilson from the church here.

Pause
Betty: I’m just fine Frank. And how about you?

Pause
Betty: Sorry to hear that, Frank. Good news is that kids get over measles fairly quickly. Frank, I hope I haven’t caught you at a bad time, do you have a few minutes to visit with me on the phone?

Pause
Betty: Good, then. I’ll come right to the point, Frank. As you know, I am the Drama Coordinator at the church. I am very thankful you have been involved in drama ministry.

Pause
Betty: Well, I’m glad to hear that you are finding drama so rewarding. Frank, I believe that we need to get more people involved in the leadership of the drama program. We need to draw on the strengths of a wider group of people, and to build up new leaders. I have been watching you in the drama program, and you have a good eye for detail, and a pleasant manner with those around you.
