dealing with heaven.
Uses Bible readings and old hymns to teach about heaven

Sample of script:

The stage is set with the door of heaven closed. While “The Gate Ajar for Me’ is played, two angels enter and open the door so the audience can study its significance. Then the first verse and chorus of the above named song are sung in the background:

There is a gate that stands ajar,
And through its portals gleaming,
A radiance from the cross afar,
The Saviour’s love revealing.
Chorus: Oh, depth of mercy! Can it be
That gate was left ajar for me?
For me, for me?
Was left ajar for me?

(The angels stand on either side of the door, while Voice reads Matt. 7:13,14 and Rev. 22:17 –)

“Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.”

“And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him hat heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.”

(Immediately following Voice the following of the song, “Whosoever Will is sung☺

Chorus: “Whosoever will, whosoever will!”
Send the proclamation over vale and hill;
‘Tis a loving Father calls the wanderer home:
“Whosoever will may come.”
Whosoever cometh need not delay,
Now the door is open, enter while you may;
Jesus is the true, the only Living Way:
“Whosoever will may come.”
Chorus: “Whosoever will, whosoever will!”
Send the proclamation over vale and hill;
‘Tis a loving Father calls the wanderer home:
“Whosoever will may come.”

(Following the singing Angel #1 enters gate and closes it from the inside. She takes her position on an elevated stand inside the door high enough to make her visible above the gate where she can beckon to the various players who will approach heaven’s door.

Angel #2 goes out while Voice reads Heb. 1: 14 –)
