Christian women deserve a good self-image for they were created by, and in the image of, He who is perfection.
As women, we battle daily the war of self-image. Society and social-media tells us the way we should look and the mirror tells us the way we really do look, creating dissatisfaction with who we are.
How, as Christian women, could we have a poor self-image, when we were created in the image of perfection?

Eve is kneeling, making motions with her pitcher that she is gathering water, stops suddenly, puts pitcher aside, bends down seeing her reflection in the water, speaks
Eve, still looking into the water:
Perfect, huh? I don’t think that is quite right.
Stands, holding pitcher as she continues talking to herself.
Eve: How can that be, really? How could I be made perfect? The Lord said that He made Adam and I perfect, in His own image. So, how could it be that I don’t feel perfect? If Adam and I are perfect, then how come we don’t look exactly the same? What is perfect?
I know there will someday be many women after me. Perhaps they will all be made perfect. I’m sure they will never struggle with the feelings of having faults and inadequacies. Maybe God improves on us humans with time. That’s it – God starts off slow, but He’ll gradually get the hang of things!
Pauses and thinks for a moment.
Eve: Wait a minute – God made everything around me first. He created the entire earth and all that is on it before He created me! So, how could that be starting off slow?
