Scene opens as Mary enters the stage carrying an ‘invisible’ jar of buttons. She is obviously very proud of this collection, and carries it very carefully.
Sue enters from opposite side of stage and is immediately intrigued with what Mary is doing. Sneaking up behind Mary, Sue scares Mary.
In the drama Mary points out how these buttons, although most are round, are still, in their own way, very unique, especially to the one who chooses, or creates, them.
