Special Instructions:

  • Although Readers drama technically does not rely on memorization, even more rehearsals and training is required for this form of drama. Since there is no onstage movement, any movements or “twitches” at any time by the readers must be an intentional happening. All movement by any reader, particularly movements by the reader(s) not reading at that moment, need to enhance and not confuse the message received by the audience.

Reader 1: from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every

WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another.

anger,

Reader 2: and do not give the devil an opportunity.

Reader 1: He who steals must steal no longer; but rather he must labor, performing
with his own hands what is good, so that he will have something to share
with one who has need.

word as is good for building up according to the need of the moment, so
that it will give grace to those who hear.

Reader 1: Do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the
day of redemption.

Reader 2: Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away
from you, along with all malice.
