Jennie: Hey Splash Man, Splash Girl, it’s so nice to see you here at the Splash Pool. I am Jennie and this here is Peter. Are you all ready to go to work, protecting our Splash Pool?

SMan: Well Jennie, like my Momma always said, I was born for this moment.

SGirl: I thought your momma said that about your sister.

SMan: Sis and I looked a lot alike actually.

Peter: Splash Man, what do you say about the wonderful new lifeguard tower we built for you here at the Splash Pool?

SMan, frightened look: A tower . .? . . Like up, off the ground?

SGirl: Splash Man has issues with being more than two inches off the ground.

SMan, hurt: I have acrophobia is all.

Jennie: Acrophobia?

SMan: Fear of heights.

SGirl: Great water wave parks Splash Man, you had to go into counselling to handle wearing platform shoes to make you look taller!

SMan: Yeh, but who knew that the soles of those shoes were gonna be like four inches thick?

Peter: Well I gotta tell you Splash Man, our town will for sure sleep better knowing that you are looking out for the folks at Vacation Bible School when they are swimming in the Splash Pool here.

SMan, confidently: Well, it’s just what I do Peter.

Jennie: Well, like Peter said, knowing, if something happens in the Splash Pool, that you are ready to jump off the top of that lifeguard tower . .

SMan, worried, looks up at the top of the tower: Jump? . . . All the way off the top of . .that? . . .

Jennie: . . . and rush out into the water to save them . .

SMan, scared: In the water? . . You mean, you expect me to go out in the water?

Jennie: Well how else would you do it? . . I mean, suppose I was out there in the water and I was drowning . . . what would you do?

SMan, confident: I, Splash Man, would call out to you . . in my deep, gorgeous voice . . . and I would say, “Hello there, you, flailing around in the water, come up here on the beach and I will save you!”

SGirl, proud: That’s how Splash Man operates, isn’t it exciting?

Peter: Well, it might be exciting to you Splash Girl, but I don’t think it is a good way to rescue swimmers in difficulty.

SMan: You mean that there is another way?

Peter: Yes, we would expect that Splash Man would go out in the water and rescue the person in trouble.

SGirl: Great water bubbles, Peter, poor Splash Man would be helpless with all the sneezing and all.
